Summary:
Sells crane & hoist products including Abell-Howe Jib Cranes to businesses, over the telephone, virtually, & via e-mail.
Works as part of a team.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
INSIDE SALES Receives quote requests for specific jib crane or hoist products.
Evaluates and clarifies customer requirements to provide most cost-effective solution.
Prepares and submits customer quotation noting features, prices, options, credit terms and delivery timing and terms.
Secures order with effective follow-up communications.
Logs Opportunities, Interactions & Sales Contacts in CRM.
Enters and tracks order utilizing company ERP software (INFOR) SALES COORDINATION & SUPPORT Receives inbound sales calls.
Enters new or updated customer/sales data into company CRM.
Provides operations feedback to outside sales reps regarding pricing changes, current manufacturing lead times, and scheduled product delivery.
Contacts existing or potential distributors/customers to qualify leads and sell products.
Overcomes technical and commercial objections of prospective customers.
Builds and maintains strong customer relationships.
Provides on-line training to qualified customers on request.

Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
1 year certificate from college or technical school or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
College Degree is a plus.
Language & Mathematical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Ability to understand and work effectively with ERP system.
