RN Coordinator - Eureka Hospital

The Nurse Coordinator coordinates nursing activities for assigned clinical unit(s) providing clinical expertise in the nursing process.
Coordinates daily nursing activities of Patient Care unit.
Resolves work related issues, or assists employees in solving work related issues, confers with manager to resolve more complex situations.
Assists in development and review of department policies, procedures, standing orders, and competencies.
Performs essential job functions of nurse coordinator.
Recommend various personnel actions including but not limited to assisting manager with hiring, giving input into performance appraisals.
Ensures new associates/current associates are competent to perform all required job tasks.
Ensures efficient and timely patient throughput within the department through assistance with admissions/discharges/nursing tasks.
Assists with creation of daily/monthly staffing schedules, oncall schedules, worked hour timekeeping and vacation approvals to meet the needs of the patient populations.
Evaluates equipment and supply needs to support inpatient surgical cases.
Provides input into annual budget and capital equipment purchases.
Provides support with floor audits, patient rounding, chart reviews and quality improvement projects.
Works in collaboration with inpatient, outpatient and interdisciplinary team members to ensure a seamless transition of patients into and out of the hospital setting and/or into and out of a Swing Bed Status.
Provide bedside coverage when the need arises.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
