Requires the ability to function independently and work effectively with residents, family members and staff.
The ideal candidate will be a person of integrity who is able to appropriately guide the Dietary Department in order to maintain our reputation for high quality food service.
Qualifications:
Experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, nursing home or other related medical facility is preferred.
Possess food service sanitation certificate.
Graduate of an accredited course in dietetic training from a college/university or be willing to complete such a course.
Training in cost control, food management, & diet therapy is preferred.
Primary Duties:
Manage all dietary department personnel, including:
hiring, training, supervising, scheduling and evaluating.
Week inspections of dietary areas.
Provide in-service training & participate in management meetings.
Responsible for resident nutrition care process, diet/menu planning.
